This is THE END - Birgit Prinz Superstar


A great soccer career is over! Brigit Prinz Germanys Super Star will not comeback this season and retire on the club and the international level.

The 33 year old super striker won 2 World Cups, 3 FIFA Players of the Years awards, 5 European Championships, 3 Olympic medals, 9 German Championships and 10 German Cups.

Birgit Prinz said: "Soccer was and is still her passion and it was necessary step in her life".

She earned 214 international caps, scored 128 goals and played in five World Cups. She scored 14 goals in just 24 World Cup games.

Brigit Prinz played a big role in Germanys Women Soccer development. He big star will step off the soccer stage.

USA vs. Mexico - Klinsmann Show?

This will be Jürgen Klinsmann's first game as a head coach, after Bayern Munich released him.

After just 9 days of signing his contract with the US Soccer Federation. Coach Klinsmann and his team will face Mexico in California.

Steve Cherundolo (Hannover), Jermaine Jones (Schalke) and Michael Bradley (Gladbach) are playing in the Germany Bundesliga. Edson Buddle (Ingolstadt) and Ricardo Clark (Frankfurt) play in the 2. Bundesliga.

We will see what he can do with the american boys tonight.

Tough times for Michael Bradley


Michael Bradley has to look for a new club! Borussia Mönchengladbach Coach Lucien Favre doesn't see Bradleys future on his team.

Max Eberl (Team Manager) said: "It will be very hard to get a spot on the roster. He left us (on loan with Aston Villa) in a very difficult situation last year. Michael cannot pretend that everything is back to normal".

Bradleys contract expires next year.

Ally Krieger signed a new contract with 1.FFC Frankfurt


Ally Krieger signed a new contract with the German powerhouse 1.FFC Frankfurt.

Krieger canceled her contract in March before the FIFA World Cup 2011. Ally wanted the best preperation with the american national team for the tournament.

During the prepration and the world cup. She realized, that she would like to continue to play for Frankfurt.

Ally and the team will leave next monday to Poland and start their pre season.

Womens Bundesliga Live on German TV


Since the FIFA Womens World Cup 2011 was such a big success. The German Womens Bundesliga expect more attraction for their new campaign.

The first step is already made. The Womens Bundesliga signed a new TV deal. The first game of the new season (1.FFC Frankfurt vs. SG Essen Schönebeck) will be broadcast live on the 21. August.

The Favorite of this game is team from Frankfurt am Main. The team is peppered with many German national players like Lira Bajramaj, Kim Kulig, Birgit Prinz. But it was not enough for the club. They also signed World Champion Saki Kumagai from Japan.

Frankfurt will face the former University Missouri standout Kat Tarr.
